Slipway
The slipway at the Sydney facility was re-opened in 2003 following extensive upgrading to comply with EPA and Waterways catchment requirements for commercial slipways.
The slipway can lift craft up to 35 metres (116ft) with a maximum beam of 9.2 metres (30ft) and a maximum displacement of 155 tonnes. Multi-hulled vessels with a maximum beam of 11 metres (36ft) and up to 35 metres (116ft) in length can also be accommodated.
This slipway is considered by many to be the best on Sydney Harbour for accessibility, smoothness and quality of operation and ease of working. Rosman Ferries, vessels from the Sydney Heritage Fleet, trawlers and large luxury cruisers are regular users of this facility. Your work can be carried out either by Noakes’ own experienced and friendly staff, sub-contractors or by the owners’ representatives.
