September 2010: Newcastle

Currently in our Newcastle yard is the beautiful 60 foot timber yacht ‘Hurrica V', where it will be undergoing restoration and maintenance work. Hurrica V is in impeccable condition for her 86 years and has been attracting much attention from locals enquiring about her history, with many comments have been made about the condition she is in for her age.

Noakes will be removing the wooden spars to be stripped and revarnished, as well as rebuilding the anchor system to be able to handle two bow anchors. Noakes are also carrying out an internal fit out.
